A leading asset manager in the Spanish market, providing portfolio management services for corporate, mortgage, and developer loans, as well as real estate assets.
Headquartered in Catalonia, the company has around 750 employees, distributed throughout Spain, with offices in many of the main cities.
Starting Point
In the Financial Assets Operations area, there was a need to automate the management of day-to-day operations, as well as to generate reports and dashboards consolidating all the information.
The starting point we encountered was an operation divided into independent phases, making it difficult to trace the process, as the management of service requests is completely isolated between the different phases or internal processes.
Solution
To address these needs, we designed and developed a data architecture based on a central Data Warehouse, where all phases and processes related to daily operations are consolidated.
We implemented a validation system to ensure data quality from the source, developing cleaning, refinement, and migration procedures to guarantee accurate, complete, and reliable integration of data from various sources.
Additionally, we worked with the management team to develop a set of reports and dashboards that provide a clear, up-to-date, and actionable view of the entire operation. These reports help identify issues, monitor process progress, and support decision-making.
Outcome
The client now has an integrated solution that allows them to control and analyze asset operations in a centralized, traceable, and real-time manner.
They have consolidated, clean, and structured information, which has significantly improved business control, issue detection, strategic decision-making, and overall team performance.
