About the Company
Our client is a telecommunications engineering firm based in the Valencian Community, operating nationwide with a broad portfolio of clients, including some of the most prominent companies in the sector.
Starting Point
The company had a project management application that worked efficiently in its operations module. However, it had significant limitations: it did not allow access to historical or consolidated data and lacked integration capabilities with other existing systems in the organization. This made it difficult to obtain a global and up-to-date view of information.
Solution
To address these issues, a Data Warehouse (SQL Server) was developed to centralize all relevant information and eliminate data silos. A structure of datamarts was also defined to organize the data by functional area, ensuring that all divisions "spoke the same language" and worked with consistent, up-to-date information. In addition, a customized dashboard (Power BI) was designed with multiple security roles, enabling each user to access only the data relevant to their profile, thus optimizing decision-making while improving system security and efficiency .
Outcome
Thanks to this solution, the company now has an agile, centralized system that provides easy access to consolidated data. This has enabled them to identify behavioral patterns and detect operational issues much earlier. The new infrastructure also supports integration with other systems, enhancing overall data visibility and strengthening their ability to analyze and make strategic decisions.
